Lori Lee Forrest, 73, of Cabot passed away from this life into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was born on July 18, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Richard Earl Bayne and Patricia Bayne. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Mitchell Forrest, her sister, Patti Tomczak (Burt), her brother Dr. Norman Bayne (Gail) and her sister from another mister, Christine Brown (Chris). Lori was predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Susan Gay.
Lori always wanted to make people feel special. Hospitality was one of her specialties. She loved to host birthday party dinners for her friends and would always include unique, individually made dinner name cards for each guest. Overnight guests might find chocolate on their pillow or a gift bag. She made greeting cars for her friends and family for special occasions orjust to let them know she cared. Lori was extremely devoted to her family and best friends and would walk with them through any trouble they faced.
Shehad a very strong work ethic that she derived from growing up and working at her family's apple farm - Bayne's Apple Valley Farm in Freeland Michigan. She honed her baking skills during that time and delighted everyone with her homemade apple pies and oatmeal cookies.
Her favorite travel destination was the beaches on the Florida Gulf coast. She loved the outdoors and spent as much time as she could in her yeard tending to plants or just soaking up the sun. Lori found much joy in all her fur babies that she mothered from the time she was a child until her passing.
Lori was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and spent the last 28 years of her life serving her church in many capacities but her greatest love with children's ministry. Many children were shaped by her love and care.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11am at Mount Tabor Methodist Church, 4100 Highway 89 S., Cabot, AR 72023. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Mount Tabor Methodist Church or Out of the Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas www.ootwrescue.org.

Joseph Owen Milligan Jr was born on December 8, 1973 on his mother's 22nd birthday at Rebsaman Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Arkansas. From day one he was known as Joey and that is still how he is referred to today by family and close friends. Joey grew up in North Little Rock and attended First Assembly of God in NLR where he was baptized at an early age. He graduated from North Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor's degree in music.
Thoughout his life he loved music and everything about it. He surrounded himself with books and tapes pertaining to music and of course, his guitars. He owned a number of them and had played with several local bands and musical groups.
In 2007 he went to work for the Department of Human Services in Haskell. DHS became an intregal part of his life. Going to work and doing his job was paramount to him. He could always be depended on to be at ork and on time each day. He did this so religiously that over the years his supervisor had to encourage him to take annual and sick leave just to avoid losing them at the end of the year.
Even as work became an integral part of his life, his close family was his foundation in life. He never missed the regular family Sunday dinners, and would spend time on the patio or gazebo serenading the family cats with his flute. He never missed being with his family on holidays or get togethers. This just recently included the famly get together at his brother Mike's house on Easter.
Joey passed away suddenly from natural causes on Thursday, July 23rd at his home in Benton. In the end he left this world in peace surrounded by things familiar to him. What bewtter way to meet our maker than to go peacefully in our sleep.
Joey will be remembered by his family and lifelong friends as a happy go lucky, mischievous, smart, musically talented young man. Although his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will endure. While our hearts ache with his absence, we are forever grateful for the privilege of having known him. His spirit will live on in every cherished memory, every familar melody, and in the hearts of all who knew him.
Joey was preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother Geraldine Milligan, Grandfather Owen Milligan, Grandmother Mary Lou Barton, Grandfather George Barton Sr., and Aunt Jill Massa.
Joey is survived by his loving parents Joe and Hazel Milligan of Maumelle, brother Michael Milligan and wife Shelley of Simsboro, LA, brother Gregory Milligan of Maumelle, and God Brother Joseph Shirley of Springfield, MO. Aunts and Uncles, Brenda Milligan of Cabot, Mitch and Debbie Milligan of Springfield, MO, George and Renel Barton of Jacksonville, James and Rose Barton of Quincey, FL, Steve and Donna Milligan of Russellville, and Sarah Lemley of Russellville. Great Uncle Harry Milligan of Little Rock, and a host of other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Joey's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1pm in the chapel of Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR.

Suda Jean Gatlin Bailey, 92, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on July 28, 2026.
She was born on February 2, 1934, in Booneville, Arkansas, to Robert H. Gatlin Sr. and Carmen E. Brasher Gatlin.
Suda was employed for many years by J. Freeman & Co. in Little Rock, Arkansas and later worked for Ferguson Custom Homes in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
An Avid and accomplished bowler, Suda spent over 55 years traveling across the United States competing in tournaments. Her dedicaton to the sport earned her inducation into the Centeral Arkansas WOMEN'S Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2005.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her niece, Linda Gatlin Hill; and nephews, Wayne Gatlin, Frank Gatlin, James Gatlin, Joe Allen Bailey, Porter Bailey, and Wayne Bailey.
Family and friends will gather on August 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the chapel of Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. At 9:50 a.m. a funeral procession will lead family and friends to the graveside service at Rest Hills Memorial Park for a 10:00 a.m. service, officiated by Pastor Rober Mc Daniel.
A special thank you is extended to Rosie Dunn, Bobbi O'Neill, and Wayne Bailey for the loving and dedicated care they provided to Suda over the years.

Johnny Buchanan Edwards, 85, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on July 26, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Johnny was born on August 9, 1940, in Grady, Arkansas, to Isaac "I.B."Edwards and Elizabeth Cole Edwards. He is preceded in death by his parents Isaac "I.B." Edwards and Elizabeth Cole Edwards and wife: Mary T. Edwards.
Johnny was a dedicated engineer who began his career at Central Moloney in Pine Bluff at just 17 years old. Through hard work, commitment, and exceptional skill, he reamined with the company until retiring at the age of 76.
He will be remembered as a loyal, hardworking, highly intelligent man who could also be wonderfully stubborn at times. Johnny was an avid gardener who took great pride in growing both beautiful flowers and fresh vegetables. He had a deep love for animals and especially enjoyed the companionship of his beloved cat. Johnny had a wonderful sense of humor that brought smiles to those around him, and above all, he cherished his family. His love, laughter, and unwavering devotion will be deeplymissed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, five children, Ariania (Dan) Richter, Mike (Marie) Edwards, Todd (Lisa) Edwards, Sharon Braswell, and Greg (Valerie) Braswell; grandchildren: Christopher Richter; Connor Richter, Kirsten Adams, spouse: Justin Adams, Rebecca Pacoriek, spouse: Tony Pacoriek, Eric Michael Edwards, Justin Braswell, wife: Alexus Braswell; Jordan Braswell, wife: Nicole Braswell; great-grandchildren: Florence Adams, Robert Adams, Serenity Rose Edwards and Caden Michael Edwards, Alaina Braswell, Braxton Braswell and Hudson Braswell; brother: Charles Isaac Edwards; wife: Judy Edwards; sister: Mary Beth Ressler spouse: Edwin Anthony Ressler; nieces and nephew, Nathan Ressler, Leigh Anne and Jeff Edwards and many other relatives and friends.

Donna Lou Williams, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2026. She was born on August 27, 1947, to James and Jurda Hutto in Damascus, Arkansas. Donna lived a life marked by faith, kindness, perserverance, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose generous spirit and caring heart touched all who knew her.
Donna graduated from Soutside High School in 1965 and enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry. Throughout her career, she served customers and colleageues with professionalism and warmth while working for First Commercial Bank, Regions Bank, Pulaski Bank, and Iberia Bank.
A faithful memeber of First Baptist Church of Sherwood, Donna was actively involved in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life and cared for others. She also dedicated her time as a volunteer at the Central Arkansas Library in Little Rock, demonstrating her liflong commitment to serving her community.
Donna found joy in reading myster and thriller novels, collecting angel and cardinal bird figurines, and spending time with her family. Cardinals held a special place in her heart and brought her comfort and happiness. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known for her kindness, compassion, and selfless nature.
A proud breast cancer survivor, Donna faced life's challenges with courage, grace and determination. Her strength and resilience were and inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was preced in death by her parents, James and Jurda Hutto; and her brothers, Kenneth Hutto and George Hutto.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hilliard (Brett) and Nikki Williams; her granddaughters, Madison Hilliard (Jose) and Kinley Hilliard; her sister, Jean Holloway (Gary); her brother, Jeff Hutto (Sharon); and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life at Rest Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9am, followed by a funeral service at 10am and graveside service at 11am with Pastor Marcus Hutto officiating. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR
Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy of love, faith, strenth, and service. Donna's memory will forever remain in the hearts of family and friends, and her example of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her. Charlene Pearl Ott, 86, passed on July 27, 2026. Born August 15, 1939, in Gillett, Arkansas, Charlene lived in Lonoke, Arkansas .
Visitation will be held at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR from 9am to 10am, followed by her funeral service from 10am to 11am.
A committal service will take place at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland, North Little Rock, AR 72120 following the service.
