Hippos and Fish Specialized Pediatric Therapy Services is a therapist-owned outpatient and community-based therapy center providing occupational and speech therapy to the pediatric population. Our pediatric program offers over 20 years of experience in sensory integration treatments, including Therapeutic Listening, Wilbarger Deep Pressure Protocol, Hippotherapy, and Aquatic Therapy; as well as a Canine Assisted Therapy Program.

What an incredible last day for our Tackling Teamwork Fishing Group and their families!

We had a blast announcing each participant's awards, sharing treats from the β€œsnackle box”, and enjoying each other’s company at our Little Rock therapy farm.

The best part? The team got to show off their expert fishing skills they developed over the last 10 weeks.

Well over a dozen-plus fish were caught and released! 🎣🐟

THANK YOU to our amazing participants, their families, and our staff for teaming up to make this fishing program a fun, educational, and absolutely amazing summer adventure.

We can't tell if Hei Hei the chicken is impressed by their singing skills, but we sure are!

Sing-a-longs are a fun way to improve your speech while also knocking out other therapy goals without even realizing you're putting in the work.

Can you believe this sweet youngster was only speaking minimally when she joined us and now she's happily singing songs and talking! We are so proud of her progress.

Whole new meaning to jungle gym!

Safari Week has officially come to an end at Hippos & Fish and, boy, was it an adventure!

Our kiddos & therapists had fun exploring, making safari-themed art, engaging in thrilling therapeutic jungle activities, and more. We had them climbing the walls with excitement! (literally πŸ˜†)

🌟 This week was a bit of a rollercoaster for our dear Blueberry! The heat really took a toll on her, but we’re beyond grateful for the incredible support she received.

A HUGE shoutout to Dr. Holder at Ferndale Creek Mobile Vet for his swift and expert care. He treated our sweet BB with so much compassion and made sure our team was fully informed about her needs.

Thanks to our amazing crew, Blueberry received round-the-clock love and care, including cold baths, prayers, positive vibes, hugs, massages, kisses, and even bedtime stories!

We’re so relieved and thankful that our 🫐🐴 is back with her pony pals, bouncing back to her spunky self! πŸ’–
