Aging is not just what you see in the mirror.

Yes, we can treat lines and wrinkles. We can talk about Botox, filler, lasers, microneedling, and all the things that help support the outside.

But we also have to talk about what is happening on the inside.

How much stress are you under?

How are you sleeping?

How much water are you drinking?

Are your hormones changing?

Are your vitamin D or B12 levels where they need to be?

Because your skin is going to keep changing. Collagen changes. Elasticity changes. Your body changes as you move through different seasons of life.

So the question becomes: how do we support you better while that is happening?

At Aesthetic Creator, I do not want to only look at the surface. I want to understand the full picture, because the outside and inside are always connected.

The goal is not to never age.

The goal is to age with more intention, more support, and more information about what your body actually needs.

If something on the outside is bothering you, it may be time to take a deeper look at what is happening on the inside too.

You do not have to wait until you feel awful to start looking for answers.

One of the things I’m passionate about at Aesthetic Creator is hormone testing and preventative labs, because so many women wait until they feel completely depleted before they start asking, “What is going on with my body?”

But what if we started earlier?

When we run labs, I’m not only looking at whether something is technically high or low. I’m looking at what is optimal for you.

Because if we have a baseline from when you felt good, then if things change later, we have something to compare it to. We are not just looking at a generic range. We are looking at your range.

The frequency depends on the person. Some patients may only need labs every couple of years. Others may need rechecks more often, especially if we are supporting something specific like vitamin D, hormones, or new symptoms.

The goal is not to overcomplicate your wellness.

The goal is to stop making you suffer through things without answers.

You are allowed to be proactive with your health. You are allowed to want information before you hit burnout, exhaustion, or “I can’t keep doing this” mode.

That is what preventative medicine is really about.

If you are tired of guessing, this might be your sign to start looking at what your body is trying to tell you.

Something I hear from women all the time is:

“I probably shouldn’t be spending money on this.”

And it usually does not matter what the treatment is.

Botox, skincare, a facial, laser, filler — the guilt can show up around almost anything that feels like it is just for them.

What is interesting to me is that so many other things are accepted as normal expenses. Golf is expensive. Fishing is expensive. Hunting is expensive. Hobbies are expensive.

But so often, women feel like they have to explain why they are allowed to do something for themselves.

And I think that is changing.

More women are giving themselves permission to say, “Yes, this is something I want to do for me.”

That does not mean ignoring your budget. It does not mean being careless. It means noticing the guilt and asking whether it actually belongs there.

You do not have to justify taking care of yourself.

A lot of women come in and say, “I shouldn’t be spending money on this.”

But here’s the thing: people spend money on hobbies all the time.

Golf, fishing, hunting, sports, travel — those things are expensive too.

So why do women so often feel like they have to justify doing something for themselves?

I think the culture is changing, and I love that more women are giving themselves permission to take care of themselves without carrying so much guilt.

You are allowed to care for yourself too.

One comment we hear a lot is: “People look younger now than they did years ago.”

And honestly, I agree.

But I do not think it is because aging disappeared.

I think it is because women are taking care of themselves differently than generations before us were able to.

More women are thinking preventatively now. Instead of waiting until something feels like a problem, they are asking, “What can I do now to feel good in my skin?”

That might mean facials.

It might mean Botox.

It might mean lasers, fillers, drinking more water, working out, getting a massage, going to the spa, or simply giving yourself permission to not be stressed all the time.

For a long time, women were expected to take care of everyone else first. Home, kids, family, responsibilities — and then maybe, if there was time, themselves.

I think that is changing.

Women are giving each other permission to care for themselves. And when we do that, we often show up better for the people we love too.

Taking care of yourself is not selfish.

It is allowed.

If you have a special event coming up, the biggest thing I want you to know is this:

Not every treatment belongs on the same timeline.

Fillers usually need more time than people think. We like to plan them at least 3 months before an event so swelling can go down, bruising can heal, and everything has time to settle into a more natural result.

Botox is usually best around 6–8 weeks before your event. It can take several days to 2 weeks to settle in, and that extra buffer gives us time for any small adjustments if needed.

Lasers, SkinPen, sun spot treatments, and deeper skin treatments need even more planning because your skin takes time to heal and show the full result. If your wedding is in the summer, we may be talking about starting laser treatments in the winter.

The goal is not to rush your skin.

The goal is to look refreshed, natural, and confident when your event arrives.

Talk with your provider early, build a timeline, and give yourself the time and budget to get the result you actually want.

One of the biggest questions we get before a special event is: “When should I start planning?”

The answer depends on your event date and the outcome you’re hoping for.

If you want your lines and wrinkles to look more relaxed, we usually like to plan Botox about 6–8 weeks before the event. That gives everything time to settle and lets us make sure you feel confident before the big day.

From there, we can talk through other options like peels, skin treatments, or anything else that supports the look you want.

Whether you’re the bride, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, celebrating a graduation, or getting ready for another big moment, the best plan starts with your date.

We can always do things last minute, but if you want the most thoughtful result, give yourself time.

If you have been thinking about joining the Aesthetic Creator Club, here’s the part I want you to understand:

It is not just a membership fee.

It is banked money you can actually use toward your services.

For $199/month, you get benefits like $1 off Botox, savings on skincare, fillers, lasers, and more. And if you do not come in for a few months, that money is still building for you to use toward a future treatment.

That is what makes it different. You are not paying just to “belong” to something. You are creating a beauty budget that supports the treatments you already love.

You can sign up online, call our front desk, or come in and we will help you get started.

The Aesthetic Creator Club is basically a savings program for your treatments.

Your monthly payment is banked, which means you can use it toward services when you are ready. Plus, members receive perks like $1 off Botox and savings on skincare, fillers, lasers, and more.

It was created for our loyal patients who want to save while continuing to care for their skin and confidence.

Ask our front desk how to join or sign up online.

Microneedling is not one-size-fits-all.

The depth I use depends on the area of the face, the thickness of the skin, and whether someone has had the treatment before.

For example, the lower face may be able to handle a deeper setting, while areas like the forehead and under-eye need a much lighter touch.

That controlled micro-trauma is what helps stimulate healing and collagen support over time, but more aggressive does not always mean better.

And if you are wondering when you should see results, give your skin time. Four weeks is usually too soon. Around 8 weeks is often where things start to shift, and for some people it can take closer to 12.

Healthy skin takes time to rebuild, and there is nothing wrong with waiting between treatments.

If you’re getting ready for a wedding, the first thing I want to know is not what treatment you saw online.

It’s the date.

The wedding date tells us how much time we really have, what treatments make sense, and what we need to avoid too close to the event.

For Botox, I usually like to plan around 6–8 weeks before the wedding.

That gives it time to settle and gives us room to make any small adjustments if we need to.

Then we can talk through the rest of the plan:

- Do we have time for a peel?
- Would a laser make sense?
- How much downtime can you actually have?
- What budget feels realistic?
- What is the one thing bothering you most?

That last question matters.

Because if your frown lines are the thing making you feel less confident, I’m not going to sit there and point out 20 other things you didn’t ask me to fix.

You deserve a plan that listens to you first.
