Walking or running — which should you choose? 🧐
Many people think walking “doesn’t count” and only running brings real results. But in reality, it depends on your body, goals, and current fitness level ☝️

Both support the heart, blood vessels, metabolism, and mood — but they work differently ✅

Walking 🚶
A low-impact option that’s gentle on the joints and suitable for almost everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. It helps lower stress, improve mood, and support weight control when done regularly. Even 30–40 minutes a day can make a noticeable difference.

Running 🏃
A more intense workout that strengthens the cardiovascular system faster and burns more calories in less time. But it requires preparation, especially for joints, ligaments, and posture. Starting too aggressively can lead to pain or injury ❗

So which one is better? 🤓
If you’re just starting, haven’t exercised in a while, or have joint concerns — start with walking. It’s not a compromise; it’s a smart beginning. If your body is ready and you want more intensity, gradually add running.

The best workout is not the one that sounds more impressive.
It’s the one you can do consistently ☝️

Constant fatigue, pale skin, hair loss, dizziness, and trouble concentrating can all be signs of low iron or low ferritin — and this is especially common in women☝️

Iron is the mineral your body uses to transport oxygen, support energy production, immunity, skin, hair, and overall well-being.
Ferritin is your iron storage — it shows how much reserve your body has.

❕The reason women are more at risk lies in physiology: monthly blood loss during menstruation, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and restrictive diets can gradually deplete both iron and ferritin levels.

⚠️ When iron or ferritin are low, oxygen delivery to tissues becomes less efficient. This can lead to chronic fatigue, weakened immunity, brittle hair, dull skin, brain fog, and reduced concentration.

That’s why it’s important not only to look at hemoglobin, but also to check ferritin, serum iron, and other iron markers when symptoms appear🤓

Main food sources include meat, liver, poultry, lentils, spinach, and seeds. Vitamin C improves iron absorption, while tea and coffee can reduce it☝️

❗Iron supplements should only be taken after blood testing and under professional guidance. Balance matters — both deficiency and excess can affect your health.

Are muscle twitches or cramps keeping you up at night after a workout? 😒
This is often called fasciculation — an involuntary contraction of muscle fibers. It may sound concerning, but most of the time, it’s your body’s way of saying: I need more recovery 🤓

There can be several causes, and they often overlap:
🔹 the muscle worked harder than it was ready for
🔹 loss of magnesium, potassium, or sodium through sweat
🔹 dehydration during or after training
🔹 an overworked nervous system

The simplest solution is to give your body time to recover ❕
Stay hydrated, replenish electrolytes, and don’t rush into the next workout too soon ☝️

Occasional cramps after intense exercise can be normal. But if twitching happens regularly or without a clear reason, it’s worth checking the condition of your muscles, minerals, and nervous system.

Did you not get enough sleep again and feel tired first thing in the morning, even though you slept for 8–9 hours?🥱
What if the problem isn’t about the amount of sleep at all?🤨

Sometimes the reason lies in what happens to your body at night, and it’s not always obvious❕

In this video, Dr. Anna Shlugman will explain what might actually be causing your morning fatigue☝️

Frequent colds and slow recovery aren’t always just about lifestyle. Sometimes, the body is simply missing essential vitamins and minerals ☝️

Even with a balanced diet, you may not absorb enough nutrients. Digestion, stress, metabolism, and individual health factors all affect how well your body uses what you eat.

Vitamin injections work differently ✅
They are administered intramuscularly and enter the bloodstream directly, allowing the body to receive targeted support quickly and efficiently.

❕Depending on the formula, injections can help support immunity, sleep, mood, bone health, concentration, and memory. Common options include B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, and glutathione — each with its own role in restoring balance.

The composition is selected individually based on symptoms and test results ❕

In Dr. Paul Shlugman’s practice, this approach is not just about “boosting the body,” but about identifying real deficiencies and supporting long-term well-being 🤓

Most health issues don’t appear overnight ☝️
More often, they develop gradually from daily habits that quietly accumulate over time.

Eating on the go, sitting for hours, poor sleep, constant stress — separately, they may seem minor. But together, they can lead to fatigue, low energy, hormonal imbalance, weight changes, and chronic conditions ❗

It’s important to understand: most problems don’t come from one single cause. They come from a pattern. That’s why quick fixes rarely create lasting results.

What really matters is understanding how your body functions 👇
▫️ how you eat
▫️ how much you move
▫️ how you recover
▫️ how much stress your body carries daily

✅ Based on this, a personalized plan is created — not harsh restrictions, but a realistic system tailored to your lifestyle and long-term health.

In Dr. Paul Shlugman’s practice, the key is simple: first find the cause, then build a strategy that actually works 🤓

If you feel that something is off, don’t ignore it. The sooner you understand what’s happening, the easier it is to restore balance ☝️

🚵‍♂️ Cycling isn’t just a way to stay active — it’s a gentle but effective workout for the whole body. Regular cycling supports energy levels, improves circulation, reduces stress, and positively affects sleep, metabolism, and overall well-being.

One of its biggest advantages is that it strengthens the body without placing excessive pressure on the joints ✅

❕During a ride, the legs, glutes, and core actively work, while the knees and spine experience less impact than they would with running. That makes cycling a great option for beginners, people with sedentary lifestyles, or those returning to movement after discomfort.

Regular cycling helps maintain joint mobility, improve tissue nutrition, strengthen stabilizing muscles, and support healthy circulation — including in the pelvic area. Moderate activity may also positively influence hormonal balance 🤓

🚛 If you drive a truck, bus, or another commercial vehicle, a medical examination is required for employment and license compliance.

Commercial driving places more demand on the body than many people realize. That’s why the exam evaluates your heart and blood vessels, respiratory and nervous systems, musculoskeletal health, vision, hearing, and blood pressure ☝️

❗Even minor health issues can affect reaction time, focus, and safety behind the wheel. This check-up helps make sure your body is ready for long hours, responsibility, and the demands of the road.

Regular CDL medical exams are not just paperwork — they’re a way to monitor your health and protect both you and everyone around you 🤓

👨‍⚕️ Dr. Paul Shlugman performs certified CDL medical exams quickly, professionally, and with care.

Before menopause, women are generally less likely to develop cardiovascular disease — largely because of the protective effects of estrogen ❤️‍🩹

But as estrogen levels begin to decline, the situation gradually changes.

🩺 Blood vessels lose some of their elasticity, cholesterol and lipid balance shift, and the strain on the cardiovascular system increases — especially when hot flashes, poor sleep, stress, and fatigue are also present. These changes happen slowly, which is why they’re often overlooked until symptoms become more noticeable.

That’s exactly why it’s important not to wait for obvious warning signs ☝️
Menopause is a time when understanding what’s happening inside the body becomes especially important.

A comprehensive evaluation can help assess hormonal balance, cardiovascular health, inflammation levels, and other risk factors before they become bigger problems 🤓

👩‍⚕️ Dr. Anna Shlugman helps women navigate this stage of life with a personalized, thoughtful approach — supporting hormonal balance, heart health, energy, and long-term well-being ❕
