Our patient came to Pler Smile with a previous composite smile design that already showed clear signs of wear and deterioration. After evaluating her case, she gave us the opportunity to take her smile to the next level with a fully customized porcelain veneer smile design. 💗

Composite can be a great option, especially because it is more affordable and allows for faster changes. However, it usually requires more maintenance and, over time, it may show color changes, loss of shine, wear, or small fractures, especially without proper care. 😩

Porcelain, on the other hand, offers greater color stability, durability, and a more natural appearance, always combined with good oral hygiene and regular dental checkups.

Our patient started with her natural teeth, and before beginning her smile design, we also enhanced the balance of her gums with a gingivectomy, creating a more harmonious proportion between the teeth and gum line. 😱

The final result: a custom porcelain smile design that looks natural, elegant, and beautifully balanced, created to complement her facial features and transform her smile.

Nuestra paciente llegó con un diseño en resina que había perdido su color y apariencia en poco tiempo. Hoy, su reacción lo dice todo. 🦷

Hicimos el cambio a **carillas de porcelana**, buscando mayor naturalidad, resistencia y estabilidad del color. Con un buen cuidado, este tipo de diseño puede mantenerse en excelentes condiciones durante **15 a 20 años**, sin los cambios de tonalidad típicos de la resina. 🤩
