Hugh Taylor, MD, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine, welcomes ACOG's Clinical Practice Guideline No. 11, which for the first time recommends clinical, nonsurgical diagnosis of to shorten delays averaging 4 to 11 years.

Taylor also explores the mental health links to endometriosis and the full-scale impact the disease can have across the whole body.

Today, Organon announced that a supplemental New Drug Application for the copper intrauterine system (MIUDELLA) IUD has been accepted for review by the FDA, for an extended duration of use for up to 6 years.

According to Organon, PDUFA action is expected in Q2 of 2027.
