Ryker’s mom says, “Before finding PX Docs, Ryker struggled significantly with eating due to ARFID. His list of safe foods was extremely limited, and trying anything new caused a lot of anxiety and distress. Mealtimes were stressful and unpredictable, and we were constantly worried about his nutrition, growth, and overall relationship with food.
It affected our daily life more than people might realize. Simple things like family meals, traveling, or attending events required careful planning around Ryker. It was emotionally exhausting at times and left us feeling unsure about how to best support him.
We spent years advocating for him, researching options, and committing to intensive therapies because we knew how important it was for his health and confidence around food.
Honestly, I knew we were in the right place the moment we walked into our PX Docs office. You can tell right away that the team truly understands the families they’re helping.
We started to realize chiropractic care was working when we began noticing small but meaningful changes in Ryker’s regulation and comfort. He seemed calmer, more at ease in his body, and we started seeing improvements in areas that had always been difficult for him.
Ryker’s life looks very different now. His teacher has noticed a huge improvement in his ability to focus and stay engaged throughout the day. At home, we’ve seen so many positive changes as well. He no longer struggles with bedwetting, and he wakes up calm and well-rested instead of exhausted.
Many of his sensory challenges that used to affect daily life have significantly improved, and the big behaviors we once worried about are no longer part of our everyday routine. He’s also become more open to trying new foods, which has been a huge step forward for him.
