What emotion is really in the driver’s seat? 🤔
The brain is designed to keep us safe. So when we bump up against an emotion that causes too much pain or discomfort, the brain will look for a *less uncomfortable* emotion (ie- exchanging grief for anger).

Mental health is often treated as something happening only in the mind.

But the nervous system, the body, emotional patterns, stress load, and sense of safety all shape how we feel and function.
Fatigue, overwhelm, irritability, numbness, shutdown, anxiety — these are not personal failures.

They are information.
