June is Lipedema Awarenss Month. June 10, 2025 was the first time I posted this video. To date, it’s the most viral post The Whiny GYNie LLC has created. I’m working to generate greater awareness for this metabolic disease that affects 1 in 9 (11% of women). That’s 17 million women in the US alone and 350-400 million women globally.

Americans need Elizabeth Warren and Josh Hawley’s Break Up Big Medicine Bill to pass & be signed into law. 3 companies should not control prescription prices, reimbursement rates & US healthcare costs.

There have been instances of shortages of micronized progesterone/prometrium. In the two years since Viviane has opened her pharmacy, the cost of the medication has increased by 300%.

Part 3: my local independent women owned pharmacy was able to source a 3 month supply of my .075 bi-weekly estradiol patch. Women should not be without their menopause hormone therapy.

Discussing the estradiol patch shortage with Viviane from Marlboro Pharmacy in Marlboro, MA. Marlboro Pharmacy is a local/independent women-owned pharmacy. Viviane and her team actually pick up the phone when patients call. They then work with over 40 distributors to source hormones for the women of MA. She’s currently working with prescribers to find workarounds for the .05 bi-weekly estradiol patch.
