The St. Augustine Community Cupboard & Closet is run by volunteers and serves over 400 families a month. If you have any of the needed items, feel free to drop them off at our office, and Dr. Kathy will take them to Tremont. Remember to be kind to one another and help take care of each other.

It's August and time to clean out all closets before the school year begins! We are in need youth clothing sizes 6-14, both girls and boys! We also need men's clothing - shirts, hoodies and smaller sizes in pants, sweatpants and shorts! We can always use new men's underwear, specifically boxer briefs sizes small to extra large.

Remember, you can drop off donations at 1415 Howard Avenue at our school building, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 :30 p.m.

Recently I have been thinking about individuals stuck in "survival mode" because of unrecognized / unacknowledged trauma. Royalton Psychological Associates is proud to be a sponsor for the LGBTQ Community and Near West Theater presented 2026 Q***r Prom. Last year, two of us helped to chaperone the event and found it to be a place of joy and acceptance for kids who often do not get a prom and do not get to express their true selves. Everyone deserves a prom. Remember to be kind to one another and help take care of each other.

Q***r Prom is an annual, free event for youth between the ages of 14-19. The event aims to be a safe space for youth to come as they are, how they are, and with any guest of their choosing, which is not always something they're able to do in their own schools.
