These patterns often start early in childhood and can be some of the hardest to heal from when a large amount of your self-worth or feelings of love, validation, and meaning in life come from what you do, how successful you are etc. π©π»βπ In the U.S. Especially, we pride oursleves on what we do, our career becomes a central part of our identity - when people first meet a common first question is "so what do you do?" π€ββββββββ

It can often SEEM easier to set aside yourself and your needs for the shiny outcomes, and even well-meaning pursuits. However, over time this inevitably leads to burnout and all of the mental and emotional side effects of that - adrenal fatigue, anxiety, headaches, general fatigue, dis-regulated sleep, etc. π« π΅βπ« Healing your nervous system is a process, but the freedom that comes with fully loving and prioritizing yourself and your needs, free's you up to not only do what you love but truly be the best version of you while you do it! ππΊββββββββ
