Saint Antoine Community The Saint Antoine Community is a non-profit organization offering older adults continuum of care in It is one of the largest employers in Northern Rhode Island.

The Saint Antoine Community comprises Saint Antoine Residence, The Saint Antoine Rehab Center, and the Villa at Saint Antoine. All facilities are located in the same campus in Northern Rhode Island. Saint Antoine Residence, located at 10 Rhodes Avenue in North Smithfield, is a 180 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The Residence provides long term care, short term rehabilitation - f

eaturing Saint Antoine Rehab Center with "Easy Street", alzheimer’s/dementia care, and a hospice Suite for end-of-life care. The Residence employs close to 400 people and engages more than 100 volunteers. Saint Antoine has been a leader in eldercare, including the first Alzheimer unit in the state, first hospice suite, and the first to use “primary care” in its provision of services. The Villa at Saint Antoine, located at 400 Mendon Road in North Smithfield, is adjacent to Saint Antoine Residence. The Villa is a lovely assisted living facility offering older adults the opportunity to realize their fullest potential and highest level of independence through the support of dedicated professionals ready to meet their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Its gracious French country setting was beautifully designed and decorated to delight the senses while residents and their families enjoy an atmosphere graced by services and amenities.

🚦 A Friendly Reminder About Campus Safety 🚦

Three new stop signs have been installed on our campus - as part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe environment for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

Our beautiful campus is enjoyed daily by residents, staff, families, and visitors who walk throughout the property. These new traffic measures have been added to help ensure their safety and well-being.

We kindly ask all drivers to please come to a complete stop and follow all traffic signage while on campus.

A few extra seconds behind the wheel can make a significant difference in keeping our community safe. Thank you for your attention, cooperation, and commitment to the safety of our residents, staff, and guests.

What an incredible week celebrating National Nursing Home Week at Saint Antoine Community! From coffee & donuts and a refreshing Del’s Lemonade Stand, to a petting zoo along our walking path, homemade doughboys, a staff BBQ, and honoring our 2026 Mary Ann Altrui Award recipient - the week was filled with fun, laughter, appreciation, and lots of delicious treats 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Carrie, Jeremy, Leigh, Loren, Jane, & Co. for the tremendous amount of planning, energy, and hard work that went into making the week so memorable for our residents, families, and staff. Your dedication helped create so many special moments for everyone to enjoy! 💙

Yesterday, Saint Antoine Community had the incredible honor of welcoming the Rhode Island Nurse Honor Guard for a beautiful “Living Tribute” ceremony recognizing several of our residents who dedicated their lives to the nursing profession 💙👩‍⚕️ 💒

These remarkable women spent their careers caring for others in various healthcare settings throughout Rhode Island and beyond. Through the touching “Nightingale Tribute” ceremony - complete with a final roll call, ringing of the ceremonial triangle, and presentation of a white rose - their lifelong dedication and compassion were honored in a truly meaningful way.

We are so blessed that the Rhode Island Nurse Honor Guard chose our home for this special tribute, and we are deeply honored to care for these extraordinary nurses each and every day. Their legacy of compassion and service continues to inspire our entire community.

Thank you to the Rhode Island Nurse Honor Guard for helping us celebrate these healthcare heroes and ensuring their contributions are never forgotten💙

There’s something special about the month of May at Saint Antoine Community 🌸☀️💒

Our residents have been soaking up every joyful moment - from a delicious “Day of the Worker” May Breakfast celebration to festive Cinco de Mayo fun filled with tasty tacos and yummy cocktails. We’ve also been getting creative with heartfelt Mother’s Day crafts and taking full advantage of the beautiful weather… enjoying fresh lemonade, warm sunshine, and relaxing moments out on the patio.

It’s days like these that remind us how important it is to celebrate together, cherish simple pleasures, and create meaningful memories along the way 💛
