There’s something powerful about preparing a space for birth—not just with supplies, but with intention. ✨

One of the beautiful things about homebirth is that you don’t have to leave your environment to give birth. Your midwives come to you.

Instead of entering an unfamiliar space and adapting to someone else’s routines, you get to labor in a place where your nervous system already knows how to settle. You can move freely, dim the lights, climb into the birth pool, eat, rest, laugh, cry, make noise, and surround yourself with whatever helps you feel grounded and safe.

And your midwives? We quietly enter your space.

We bring our clinical skills, medications, emergency equipment, experience, and watchful presence—but we also understand that this is your home, your body, your family, and your birth.

Happy Pride from your favorite DMV midwives! 👋🏽🏳️‍🌈Y’all know how much we LOVE helping grow q***r families by providing IUI and fertility care and education. Lately we’ve been hearing from families that the cost is a barrier for many to start their parenting journey. While we continue to be committed to deeply discounting our IUI services, we can’t control the price of donor s***m and cryo bank fees (not to mention attorney fees which is a unique thing that only q***r couples face when bringing a baby into the world.) We are starting this fundraiser for pride month to help cover the IUI cost for these families so that they can put their money towards the other fees associated with growing a family. Buy a T-shirt – help an LGBTQ family grow. 💗💗💗 All money raised goes directly to paying the Midwife and assistant performing the IUI, and for the medical supplies needed to perform the procedure.
