EMH wants to formally introduce:
Patricia (Patti) Fields, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of behavioral and mental health disorders across the lifespan. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that supports both emotional and physical well-being to enhance overall quality of life.
With a patient-centered approach, Patti begins each conversation by listening carefully to understand her patients’ concerns, experiences, and goals. She believes meaningful care starts with understanding the individual beyond the diagnosis. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, dementia-related conditions, addiction, and other behavioral health challenges.
As a PMHNP-BC, Patti is qualified to diagnose mental health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications when appropriate. She began her nursing career in 1991 and has devoted her entire professional career to the field of mental health. She first practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) before earning her associate degree in nursing (ASN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and, most recently, her Master of Science (MSN)in Nursing in 2021.
Beyond clinical practice, Patti has remained deeply involved in mental health advocacy and community outreach. She previously served as vice president of her local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and has actively participated in su***de prevention and Alzheimer’s awareness walks. She continues to advocate for individuals and families affected by mental health and addiction disorders, striving to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to compassionate care.
In her spare time, Patti enjoys traveling, spending time with her family — especially her grandson, Ryan — and being outdoors
Patti is honored to join Empower Mental Health, LLC, where the organization’s mission and commitment to compassionate mental health care and advocacy closely align with her own professional values and goals.
