Last post till we get home. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park highlights. A much smaller but still very beautiful park. Bit more smoke from Gold Mountain Fire today.

Mesa Verde National Park highlights for just Kathy and I. We did two ranger guided tours and both were terrific! Truly a spectacular park and we are glad we took this day trip to see these sites from roughly 1200 AD. Also very tired as we climbed a lot and it was hot. 🥵

Ok, this is a confession post. I and our group decided we would get up early and try the Ouray Perimeter Trail. We all started at 7 am and quickly realized this was going to be very difficult. Oh, and I’m afraid of heights. So with my weight being high and anxiety off charts, I only made it to Cascade Falls but I’m not ashamed as altitude is real.

Anyway, Charlinda at Perception Yoga, I and a few others will be taking your fitness yoga class as soon as we get back. Rock bottom has been attained for my fitness level. You all can hold be accountable on increasing my fitness!

Today was an unreal experience! We and our group Jeeped a trail called Imogene Pass which got us up to ~13,150 feet. Probably scarier looking at photos than experiencing but still a major adrenalin day. Trees stop growing at around 11,500 feet, fyi.

Got to check off a bucket list event for my life on vacation!! Strongly recommend attending Red Rocks for any concert. I don’t like country music much but still enjoyed Eric Church and 49 Wi******er. The venue is as amazing as I expected, perfect acoustics and visually stunning! Thank you to my patients for allowing me time off to do this!! Rainbow was legit too. Show was dry after a small rain.
