On Friday, our Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation team wore pink in memory of the one and only, Dolly Parton. 🩷

Dolly had a special way of making the world a brighter place, not only through her music, but also through her love for others and the countless people she inspired along the way.

Our Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation residents took on the staff in a hilarious game of life-sized Whack-a-Mole, armed with nothing but pool noodles and quick reflexes!

We’re not sure who had more fun...the residents swinging or the staff trying to dodge them! 😂

We conquered the mud at the Ohana Mud Run this weekend in Morganton! 💪🏅

Our team got MUDDY, tackled the obstacles, and proudly crossed the finish line!

Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation, Grace Heights Health and Rehabilitation, and College Pines Health & Rehabilitation teamed up to sponsor this awesome event that brings the community together while giving back to a great cause. 💙

B-I-N-G-O!

It's always a great day for BINGO at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation! Our residents enjoyed a morning filled with fun, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement as they marked their cards and cheered each other on. Congratulations to all of our lucky winners who got those coveted BINGO Bucks! 😁 👍

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence. A milestone that honors the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have shaped our nation since 1776.

As we reflect on this historic anniversary, we are especially grateful for the veterans, service members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and all those who continue to serve our communities with dedication and compassion.

Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of freedom. 🇺🇸✨

Last week, we celebrated an incredible National Nursing Assistants Week filled with fun, food, prizes, and appreciation for our amazing CNAs! ✨

Throughout the week, we enjoyed a dunking booth, resident-made appreciation cards, dress-up days, yummy food each day, tie-dye shirt activities, and exciting games for our CNAs. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize the dedication they show every day.

We ended the celebration by announcing our 2026 CNA of the Year, Landon Gambill. Landon's hard work, perseverance, and commitment to providing exceptional care are an inspiration to everyone at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, support his team, and do what is right for our residents.

Thank you to all of our outstanding CNAs for the compassion, dedication, and care you provide each day. We appreciate everything you do and are grateful to have such an incredible team! 💙💚
