Some of the best additions to a team begin long before the first official day.

Gaia Knight, PA-C, first came to Allergy & Immunology Associates of New England as a PA student completing her clinical training. Her clinical ability, dedication to her patients, and natural interest in allergy and immunology quickly stood out.

Dr. Jonathan Bayuk recognized that potential and personally selected Gaia to join the AIANE team, where she has continued specialized training and mentorship in allergy and immunology.

And there’s even more behind the white coat. 🎓 Gaia graduated summa cm laude from Hofstra University Honors College with a BS in Community Health, earned her MS from MCPHS, and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Her clinical education also included experience in infusion medicine and managing infusion reactions at UMass.

Today, Gaia brings that strong academic foundation together with a thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate approach to caring for our patients.

We’re proud that Gaia’s story with AIANE began as a student and has grown into a career caring for our community.

🇺🇸 A little Labor Day history matters.

Labor Day exists to honor American workers and the labor movement that fought for better wages, safer workplaces, reasonable working hours, and something incredibly important: time away from work.

It became a federal holiday in 1894.

So when we hear complaints that America has “too many non-working holidays,” it’s worth remembering why some of these days exist in the first place.

Workers are not simply an expense on a balance sheet. They are the people who built this country, keep our businesses running, care for our families, teach our children, build our communities, and drive our economy.

A day set aside to recognize their contribution isn’t wasted productivity.

It’s recognition. 🇺🇸

Dr. & Mrs. Bayuk would like to remind everyone the school year is right around the corner! Before backpacks are packed and the morning rush begins, please remember to submit school medical and allergy forms early.

If your child needs updated allergy or asthma documentation, medication authorization forms, emergency action plans, or other school paperwork completed by their provider, don’t wait until the first day of school. Early submission gives our clinical team the time needed to carefully review and complete your child’s forms.

📚 A little planning now can make for a safer, smoother start to the school year.

🦇 Never a dull moment at AIANE!

We had a little unexpected visitor at the office this morning… a bat! 🦇

After calls to our landlord, Animal Control, and the Fire Department, everyone was kept safe while we waited for the appropriate help to arrive.

And then, of course… Batman arrived. 🦇🦸‍♂️

Our tiny visitor was safely handled, everyone was okay, and we can officially add “bat management” to the list of unexpected things that can happen before the workday even gets going.

A big thank you to everyone who helped us handle the situation safely and calmly!

Just another Monday at AIANE. 😂

The AIANE family gathered for our annual company picnic to celebrate the incredible people who make our mission possible every day. From caring for our patients to supporting one another behind the scenes, this team shows up with compassion, dedication, and heart.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We are grateful for each member of our team and proud of the culture we’re building together.
