I’m the queen of multitasking. 🙋♀️
As a mom, therapist, and practice owner, you’ll usually find me doing at least two things at once. But one afternoon, my toddler pointed out an airplane flying over our backyard—and I realized I had never noticed just how many airplanes fly over our house.
So we sat there for 15 minutes and watched them go by. No agenda. No productivity. Just airplanes. ✈️
It was such a simple reminder of something I talk about often as a therapist: mindfulness doesn’t have to mean meditation or finding an hour of quiet. Sometimes, it’s simply slowing down long enough to notice what’s already there.
