We had a great opportunity to participate in a workplace safety event hosted by Georgia Nut Company in Skokie!
Chicago CPR Academy provided employees with hands-on demonstrations focused on the lifesaving skills that can make a difference during the first few minutes of an emergency.

โก AED Training โ How simple AEDs are to use, why early defibrillation matters, and why having accessible AEDs in the workplace is so important.

๐ฉธ Bleeding Control โ Hands-on practice using direct pressure and tourniquets to control life-threatening bleeding.
One message tied everything together:
The most important thing is to TAKE ACTION.
In an emergency, you donโt have to be a healthcare professional to make a difference. Recognizing whatโs happening, calling 911, and starting lifesaving care can give someone their best chance of survival.
