A little bunny with a lot of skill-building behind it 🐰🧶
This loom crochet project worked on so much more than making something cute. It gave us a fun, meaningful way to practice:
• Fine-motor coordination and hand strength
• Bilateral coordination
• Visual-motor skills
• Following a sequence
• Sustained attention
• Patience and problem-solving
Projects like this allow kids to slow down, work through mistakes, and experience the pride of creating something from start to finish. And this finished bunny was definitely worth the effort!

Happy Father's Day from Thrive Occupational Therapy! 💙
This week, our clients celebrated the special dads and father figures in their lives through meaningful, hands-on projects. From crafting "Dad, You Are..." french fries to creating keepsakes and practicing drawing skills, these activities supported:
✨ Fine motor development
✨ Bilateral coordination
✨ Visual motor integration
✨ Creativity and self-expression
✨ Planning and problem-solving
Most importantly, they gave children the opportunity to reflect on the people who help them grow, learn, and thrive every day. Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who support their children's journey.
