Mission Statement: The Mount Desert Nursing Association’s mission is to improve the health, safety, and independence of the people of Mount Desert Island through the delivery of high quality and compassionate skilled nursing and other in-home health care services, advocacy, education and prevention programs. Please note special hours for Loan Closet Pickup/Drop off: MWF 9:30am-11:30am and T/Th 1

:30pm-3:30pm. At this time we do not need crutches, walkers, commodes, or shower chairs for donation.

🩺 Teamwork in action! 🩺

At the start of each week, our clinicians meet to plan for the patients they'll be caring for in the days ahead. These weekly team meetings give our nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists the opportunity to collaborate, share updates, and coordinate care so every patient receives the support they need.

It's all part of our commitment to helping our neighbors heal safely at home while providing the highest quality care every step of the way. 💙
