Next time your inner critic activates, over a typo, an awkward silence, a task you didn't finish, don't argue with it and don't agree with it.
Just name it: this is the old strategy, trying to protect me from judgment and disapproval.
Then do one ordinary next thing and let the moment pass without the internal trial. It'll feel uncomfortable, that's your nervous system learning something new, not a sign you're doing it wrong.
