The Israeli Wheelchair Rugby Team brought home the bronze medal at the European Championships Division B in Spain, finishing third after a strong 54–34 win over Italy in the bronze medal match.

The team had an outstanding group stage, finishing first in their group with wins over Poland, Ireland, and Italy, before a heartbreaking one-point loss to Sweden in the semifinals (45–44) that kept them out of the final and a chance for promotion to Division A.

Throughout the tournament, the team showed professionalism, determination, and a clear game plan, finishing with four wins and just one loss.

This achievement came despite challenging conditions as the Israeli representation at the competition, and reflects the resilience and commitment of the players and staff who continue onwards despite it all.

Huge congratulations to the entire team on a strong tournament and a well-earned medal.

Our wheelchair basketball team put together an outstanding season, winning all but two games and earning their place in the championship final.

The final didn't go the way we had hoped, but the team showed tremendous determination, battling back from a 16-point deficit to come within just four points before ultimately falling to the Hadera Sharks.

While the result was disappointing, it does not take away from what was a remarkable season filled with hard work, growth, teamwork, and great basketball. We are incredibly proud of everything this team achieved along the way.

And thankfully, we have some fantastic photos by Shaul Abramovich from the final with which to close the season.

Last week, Arbel, Mika, Ronen, and Yoav took part in a swimming competition alongside non-disabled athletes.

Experiences like these are opportunities to compete in a different environment, meet new athletes and gain confidence.

Two of our swimmers in our children's program, Tom and Eyal, came to cheer on our team and had the chance to meet two-time Israeli Olympian swimmer Meiron Cheruti. What a memorable experience and a wonderful source of inspiration for our athletes.

Kol hakavod to our swimmers and to coaches Liudmila Drozd and Esther Ben Ghouzi for their dedication and support. 🏊🏽‍♀️

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rachel and Roi Bier for a visit to the Israel ParaSport Center.

Although they were only in Israel for a few days after having their trip postponed twice because of the war, they spent hours at The Center meeting athletes, watching practices, trying wheelchair basketball and boccia themselves, and hearing firsthand what this place means to so many families.

One especially meaningful connection was hearing that their son, an avid basketball player preparing for his Bar Mitzvah in 2027, hopes to do his Bar Mitzvah project together with us. ❤️

Thank you, Rachel and Roi, for your warmth, curiosity, enthusiasm, and genuine connection to The Center. We loved having you here.

Where does a kid with a disability ever get to stand next to a Paralympic champion and see what hope looks like?

Here. That's where.

This is just another day at the Israel ParaSport Center.

It started as a Bar Mitzvah project, but it's become much more!

Atlanta 8th graders from The Davis Academy and The Epstein School came together for the Stein family's 2nd Annual Pickleball Fundraiser, rallying around the Israel ParaSport Center.

Thank you for stepping up and supporting Israeli para-athletes!
