We had an absolute blast at Three Links Health Services last week during Nursing Home Week - five days filled with joy, laughter, and those unforgettable “you had to be there” moments that remind us why this work matters most 🧡
We kicked things off in true cozy fashion with Pajama Day and fresh bakery donuts - because nothing pairs better with a good morning than comfy clothes and something sweet 🍩. We were all a little extra relaxed… and may or may not have been too busy enjoying the moment to take many photos 😴📸
Tuesday was a total hero moment as residents and staff suited up like superheroes to save the day alongside a taco salad lunch that was absolutely *marvel-ous* 🌮🦸♀️
Wednesday was all about “hats off” to fun—literally! Silly socks, standout hats, and a Domino’s pizza lunch that arrived hot, fresh, and very much appreciated 🍕🧦
Thursday brought out our team spirit in full force as we rocked our Three Links shirts and dove into Resident vs. Staff Games. Let’s just say… things got *cheesy* 🧀 Residents had a blast tossing cheeseballs onto staff heads covered in shaving cream (because of course that’s how they stick 😄). And yes—some residents had a very different strategy and preferred to snack on the “game pieces” instead!
After the cleanup, resident and staff teams came together for a building challenge - working to create the tallest structure possible out of popsicle sticks, tape, and blocks. Some soared… some fell dramatically at the last second… and all of them sparked laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition.
(and if you caught our post about the cookout with EMS on Friday, you already know—we ended the week on a perfect note!)
You really have to be here to experience it—the cheers when a structure stands, the squeals when it tumbles, and the pure joy of residents and staff sharing these moments side by side. This is more than activities.. more than just a week… it’s connection, community, and heart in action we get to experience every day. We are truly grateful for our incredible team, families, and the residents who make every day meaningful. We are truly the best place in the world, and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful community to share our days with.
