MEET THE FOUNDER OF DOXA CARE!

Hi, I’m Erica Bettis, Registered Nurse and founder of DOXA CARE.

Throughout my nursing career, I have worked closely with medically complex and high-risk patients, helping families navigate chronic illness, functional decline, healthcare follow-up, and the difficult transitions that come when a loved one needs more support than family alone can safely provide.

Over the years, I saw the same problem again and again: families are overwhelmed, unsure what resources exist, and often left trying to piece together care without clear guidance.

DOXA CARE was created to change that.

Our mission is to help families create safe, practical care plans for aging, disabled, and medically fragile loved ones through nurse-led guidance, compassionate in-home support, caregiver relief, and long-term community living solutions.

As both a nurse and a founder, my goal is simple: to provide families with clarity, support, and peace of mind during some of life’s most overwhelming caregiving seasons.

In preparation for our official launch in March 2026, Doxa Care LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to serve clients in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas.

We provide nurse-led, person-centered home care services supporting elders and individuals with disabilities. Our model emphasizes dignity, safety, and excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities include:
• Assistance with personal care
• Companionship and supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Documentation and communication
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Background check and urine drug screen clearance
• TB Skin Test
• Compassionate and professional demeanor

Preferred:
• Prior caregiving experience
• CPR
• CNA certification (not required)
We offer:
• Structured onboarding and training with Orientation
• Supportive clinical oversight
• Flexible scheduling
