"Stop." "Put that down." "No." "Don't." "Why are you naked again?"

If that sounds familiar, you may have a 2- or 3-year-old at home.

Toddlers are equal parts chaos and charm. They're learning independence, testing boundaries, asking endless questions, and approaching every day with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Sure, they keep us on our toes, but they're also funny, joyful, affectionate, and wonderfully themselves.

The toddler years may be loud and messy, but they're also filled with some of childhood's sweetest memories. ❤️

💙 National Relaxation Day Reminder

Sometimes the healthiest thing a child can do is... nothing.

No practice. No lessons. No rushing.

Just time to play, imagine, read, explore, relax, and enjoy being a kid.

And parents, this applies to you too.

Childhood is meant to be joyful, not rushed. Today, give yourselves permission to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy a little extra breathing room.

After all, happy, healthy families don't just need activity.

They need rest, too. ☀️

Once upon a time, they walked into our office with backpacks bigger than they were.
These next weeks many of those same children are carrying them into college dorms.
Parents, you’ll get your babies back for Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break, and summers.
Pediatricians don’t.
One day our little patients quietly become someone else’s “adult patient.” That’s the way it should be… but that doesn’t mean we stop thinking about them.
We celebrate every acceptance letter, every graduation, every dream they chase.
Thank you for letting us watch your children grow.
They’ll always be your babies.
And, in a way, they’ll always be our kids too!!
