In a lot of groups I have seen posts asking about pulling mullein. Mullein only lives 2 years. Please do not pull it when it is in its first year (first pic). You can harvest the leaves off it, but don't pull it out of the ground. Because you want to wait until it's second year (pic two) for it to flower and then drop it's seeds. If you just pull them before they seed during their second year, there will be no new plants for you to go get next year. We take only what we need. We don't over harvest. We harvest responsibly. That comes with knowing the plants. And always thanking them.
