We are incredibly honored to once again be named a Globe Gazette Readers’ Choice Award recipient.

To us, this recognition means far more than an award. It reflects the trust, confidence, and recommendation of the families and communities we are privileged to serve, and that is something we will never take lightly.

As a locally owned funeral home, right here in Mason City, we are deeply proud to serve families throughout North Iowa and the many surrounding communities we call home. For generations, families have invited us into some of the most personal moments of their lives. To continue earning that trust is one of the greatest honors we could receive.

Celebrating Northwood, Community & 250 Years of Heritage

We were honored to take part in Northwood’s Founders Day Pole Decorating Contest and help celebrate our community and America’s 250th anniversary.
Our team had so much fun bringing our downtown pole to life with a little Northwood history, Iowa harvest, and plenty of red, white and blue.
From the historic downtown buildings to the sunflowers, wheat, stars and 250, our hope was to create something that celebrated not only this important anniversary, but the community we are proud to be a part of.
And we are incredibly grateful to share that our entry was selected as the Judge's Choice!
While we are certainly excited about the win, what means the most to us is simply having the opportunity to participate and contribute to an event that brings our community together.
Being involved has always been important to us. We are honored to serve the families of Northwood and the surrounding communities, and we are equally honored to be part of the celebrations, traditions and community events that make these places home.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and thank you to those who make Founders Day so special. It is wonderful to see Northwood come together and celebrate 250 years of American heritage in such a creative way.
