🌸✨ That’s a wrap on Nursing Home Week 2026 at Autumn Lake Norwalk! ✨🌸

We ended the week with an amazing Color Wars competition that brought the entire building together with laughter, teamwork, and so much energy. Every team showed up ready to compete, but it’s safe to say the BLUE team definitely understood the assignment! 💙🏆

A special thank you to Katie Talons from VITAS Healthcare for providing beautiful flower bouquets for our staff, the perfect touch to our “Moments in Bloom” week. 💐

From Luau Day and Disney fun to 80s throwbacks, sports day, and today’s finale, this week was filled with appreciation, positivity, and unforgettable moments. Seeing our staff come together, support one another, and truly enjoy themselves was the best part of all.

Thank you to our incredible team for making this week such a success. The heart of this building is the people inside it, and this week proved exactly that. 🌺

🎶🕺 Day 3 of Nursing Home Week at Autumn Lake Norwalk was totally rad! 📼✨

Today our staff truly understood the assignment and brought the 1980s back to life! From neon colors and leg warmers to vintage band tees and big hair, everyone showed up ready to celebrate in full 80s fashion. 🎤🎸

The team enjoyed throwback music, lots of laughs, and a trip down memory lane at our 80s candy shop filled with nostalgic favorites. It was another amazing day full of fun, teamwork, and unforgettable Moments in Bloom. 🌸

✨🏰 Day 2 of Nursing Home Week brought the magic with Disney Day at Autumn Lake Healthcare! 🌸✨

Our staff showed off their Disney spirit by dressing as their favorite characters, enjoying Disney trivia throughout the day, and competing for fun prizes, including scratch-off winners! 🍪🎉 Everyone also enjoyed delicious cookies and snacks with a special assist from Monique Bongartz with CT Nursing Services.

This week’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” reminds us that even the smallest moments of laughter, teamwork, appreciation, and fun help our team continue to grow and bloom together.

🌺☀️ Nursing Home Week is officially in full bloom at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Norwalk! 🌸🍦

Today’s Luau Day was filled with smiles, laughter, tropical vibes, and sweet treats from the Ice Cream Emergency Truck! Our staff had an amazing time celebrating together, taking pictures under our beautiful blooming balloon arch, and enjoying a well-deserved moment of fun and appreciation.

Happy Nurses Day to our incredible nursing team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Norwalk!

Today we celebrated the compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated nurses who make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day. The halls were beautifully decorated, our nurses received a special gift as a small token of appreciation, and the morning started with a delicious omelet breakfast made just for them.

Thank you to all of our nurses for your endless commitment, kindness, and the care you provide each day. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
