We had an absolute great day, the residents enjoyed some of our wonderful Social Drumming which is always a hit for our residents and to see them enjoy it makes it so much more enjoyable.

We took a trip out to Jester Park for a scenic bus ride hoping to see the Elk and Buffalo but the buffalo decided to hide on us but we did get to see the Elk standing in the water. It was a beautiful day to take a ride.

Here at StoryPoint Norwalk we had a resident that went back to her hometown in Gilmore City where she was the Grand Marshall for their town, her daughter Julie came and picked her mom up and took her there for the weekend to enjoy some time, Linda had a great time spending the weekend where she was busy all weekend helping with the Cutie Contest, drew names for raffle drawing, and rode in the parade, she even walked in wearing her blinking party crown. When asked what she enjoyed most about the weekend she said seeing some of her longtime friends. There was not a dull moment for her all weekend.

Today was a great day where we did some State Fair activities thanks to Fox Rehabilitation for coming and helping out and playing some fun games with ring toss over pop bottles and then some tried there are in creating something for our butter sculptures and they sure did turn out great. We also had a couple jars with goodies in where they had to guess how many pieces were in the jars.

We had a wonderful on Tuesday where we did some State Fair Trivia with the residents and also enjoy some pretzels with cheese dip Thanks to Stephanie from Care Initiatives Hospice for coming and entertaining our residents.
