I have been asked how I learned Bowen and how I got all of my training.
It’s been a life long discovery
I am not a massage therapist. I never wanted to be and I LOVE going to my massage therapist
Many people are hesitant to try Bowen because it’s the unknown. They might not stick with it after one session because they didn’t feel anything change (yet). Sometimes we don’t get instant healing, it’s something that needs to be unraveled.
My practice is a blend of medical knowledge, well thought-out movement mechanics, and non-invasive nervous system therapies. When you work with me, you’re getting a practitioner who understands your physical being from the inside out: and always including your feedback to help with the therapies.
I hold an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care and practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). I understand the function of the body at a cellular level through to the dynamic real substance we can feel, express and respond to
As a former dancer and teacher of ballet, a USA Gymnastics coach and a certification in assisted stretching and flexibility spending decades mastering alignment, flexibility, and exactly how the body handles physical impact.
I have over 750+ hours from the American Bowen Academy Professional Certification with Advanced Specialized Procedures, A Professional Integrative Reflexology Certification (250+ hours covering feet, hands, ears, and face), and a Certification in Usui Reiki II
I didn’t take a traditional path, and that’s exactly why my sessions work. Everyone is treated as an individual- keeping your time unique to you. The focus can be some or all: structural alignment, neurological resetting, mobility, and, when indicated, specific breathing techniques are introduced and encouraged.
If you have been thinking about Bowen being able to help you, now might be the time. If you’re dying to have a reflexology session because you never have experienced it, had a very painful one and never want to go back, need to find a new one?
