Your care team w

ill include physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy experts; rehabilitation physicians and nurses; case managers; dietitians; and more. While at our rehabilitation hospital you will receive 24/7 nursing care and three hours of therapy five days a week. Patient rooms include a television, phone and free wifi.

Toby was admitted to our Encompass Health hospital in Huntsville, Alabama after a stroke left him unable to speak, stand, walk, move his limbs or consistently open his eyes.

Toby worked with his physical, occupational and speech therapy teams determined to make progress. By discharge, Toby was walking, climbing stairs, communicating effectively and completing self-care tasks with minimal assistance. Doru was admitted to our Encompass Health location in Libertyville, Illinois following a stroke. Through an intensive, interdisciplinary therapy program focused on balance, mobility and self-care, he made steady progress.

By discharge, Doru achieved independence with activities of daily living and advanced to walking with assistance. He shared that being able to walk again gave him hope and credited his care team for preparing him for continued recovery.

When Arthur arrived at our hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he needed help with basic self-care tasks. Determined to regain his independence, he committed himself fully to therapy. Christopher was admitted to our Encompass Health location in Moline, Illinois after a car crash resulted in a spinal cord injury.

From the start, Christopher set ambitious goals for his recovery and worked hard to achieve them. Determined to walk again, he pushed himself during therapy and utilized advanced rehabilitation technology, including the Vector system, to help improve his mobility.

Kevin sustained multiple injuries in a car crash and required several surgeries before beginning inpatient rehabilitation at our Encompass Health hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
