🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Happy Pride Month from NMCS! We kicked off the celebration last Friday by raising the Pride flag in a joyful community gathering filled with a heartfelt speech, story time, and arts & crafts.

This month, we proudly raise the Pride flag as a symbol of love, acceptance, and belonging. At NMCS, our doors are open to all, and we are committed to fostering a community where people of every identity can learn, grow, and thrive together. We're honored to stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community today and every day. Special thanks to Marin County Free Library for joining us.

Wishing everyone a joyful and meaningful Pride Month! 🌈

Thank you to everyone who came out to explore the future of clean, electric living at the Clean Energy Expo 2026! ⚡We are especially grateful to the 22 vendors who provided information and outreach on a wide array of topics. This community-powered event was presented by the City of Novato - City Government in collaboration with North Marin Community Services, Marin County Sustainability Team, MCE, and Ride and Drive Clean. It was made possible thanks to generous support from Marin Community Foundation and MCE.

Community, curiosity, and joy—what a day! Huge thanks to Bay Area Discovery Museum for hosting NMCS families for a special Community Day on May 9! From a slime and ocean animals station to creative gross motor and hands-on exhibits with mud kitchens, train stations, and take-home activations, kids had a blast learning through play.

The museum generously provided a school bus and free entry—making this day of exploration accessible to all. We’re so grateful for their partnership in helping our families discover new spaces to grow, connect, and have fun together. 🌱💜
