We’ve worked hard to expose Sarafina to many different situations. She’s traveled off the farm for a hunter pace, ridden to the ice cream shop, guided our trail rides, and brought up the rear as our drag horse. Through it all, she has been incredibly consistent—forward, confident, and unbothered by nearly everything.

The goats were a little concerning to her at first, but now she doesn’t give them a second thought. She doesn’t care if another horse is right on her tail or riding close beside her. We feel like we’ve gotten a very good understanding of her personality and the kind of mare she is.

Yesterday, Sarafina carried one of our riders to the ice cream shop and back on our Ice Cream Ride. What a good mare she is! We feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Ryan and I would like to sincerely thank everyone who reached out and offered to help with water today, including friends, neighbors, community members, and complete strangers. From the bottom of our hearts, we truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Thankfully, our power came back on about 45 minutes after the water was delivered. All of the horses are doing great, there was no damage to the buildings, and not a single scratch on any of the horses.

Thank you again for the messages, support, and countless offers to help. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. ❤️

Is there anyone in the Nunda area who can deliver water to our farm today? We are without power, with restoration currently estimated around 11:00 p.m. Our pumps and automatic waterers are not working, and we need enough water for more than 20 horses. We have two 100-gallon water tanks that need to be filled. Please message me if you can help or know someone who can. Thank you!

Lexi did her senior photos on the farm and once again Beau was the star of the show! I’m so excited to see the finished product. So many great places to take photos and even the hot air balloons 🎈 graced us with a beautiful background, and those views! It doesn’t get any better…….I might just have to open it to others! 🤔
