Congratulations, Reina. ❤️

Every once in a while, a message arrives that reminds me why I love what I do.

Recently, Reina shared that since working together around the COVID years, she has not experienced the debilitating nerve pain that once affected her daily life.

Think about that for a moment.

Years have passed.

Years.

When people are dealing with nerve pain, they are not just thinking about pain.

They are thinking about the walks they miss.

The trips they postpone.

The hobbies they give up.

The moments with family that become harder to enjoy.

That is why Reina's message meant so much to me.

Not because she remembered me.

Because she is still enjoying the benefits years later.

There is something special about seeing someone get back to living their life and continue living it long after the struggle has faded into the background.

Reina, thank you for sharing your experience.

And congratulations on all the years of freedom, movement, and life that followed. 💖

For more than 2 years, Christina couldn't lift her right arm overhead.

She couldn't wash her own hair.

She couldn't brush her hair comfortably.

She couldn't put on a coat without struggling.

And she was told there was a reason for all of it.

She was told she had severe cervical radiculopathy, arthritis, bone spurs, and stenosis.

She was also told her shoulder was so badly degenerated that it needed to be replaced.

The surgeon said, "there's no cartilage anymore".

In other words, she had been given a future defined by pain and limitation.

Then Christina decided that story wasn't finished.

Today, she's doing something she hadn't been able to do in over 2 years.

She's raising her arms overhead with confidence.

She's washing her own hair.

She's getting dressed without help.

She recently threw a ball with zero pain.

The biggest change isn't what you see in this video.

The biggest change is that Christina is no longer organizing her life around what hurts.

She's focused on strength.

She's focused on mobility.

She's focused on discovering what other movements she can get back.

This isn't about proving anyone wrong.

It's about Christina getting pieces of her life back that she thought were gone.

And that's worth celebrating. ❤

What if the nerve pain you've been suffering isn't as "stuck" as you thought?

You don’t need months to feel relief.

You need the right approach.

I saw it again this week with another client on my First Steps Plan.

He reached out with severe sciatic pain he'd been suffering for months.

He told me he couldn’t sit longer than a few minutes.

He couldn’t stand long either.

Bending forward was completely off the table.

Nothing he tried touched it.

We started with one simple, strategic, and very safe skill to Unload the nerve irritation.

No aggressive moves.

No complicated routines.

Just simple, targeted work his body could actually respond to.

Here’s what happened next:

→ The worst pain area dropped to little to none within just a few minutes

--> That wasn't a permanent effect yet but it gave us the information to take this quick relief and start creating progressive, lasting relief

→ Later in the week, a second problem area seemed to fully release with just one effort

→ He found himself moving easier but, more importantly, he sees light at the end of the tunnel when there was only foreboding, depressing darkness for him before

That shift didn’t come from forcing his body.

It came from positioning it the right way.

Safe. Simple. Repeatable.

If you’re dealing with nerve pain that’s limiting how you sit, move, or live…

And you’re tired of things that don’t last…

Message me “RELIEF”

We'll have a short chat and I’ll tell you if this could work for you.

Long term sciatic pain kind of rolls out like this:
Pain shoots down your leg and suddenly you are stuck in a loop of confusion. You wonder if it's a piriformis or a nerve root issue. You Google, you stretch, you second guess every move. Then nothing changes.
So you go see the doc or therapist and they always seem to want to make it hurt worse with the notion that will somehow tell them how to make it feel better. They talk about tests, procedures, etc. but you leave with more pain and not sure you've got an answer.
You ponder your options until you simply want to give up. It's full scale "paralysis by analysis". None of the choices is a sure bet. So you're just not sure which way to go.
I see it all the time with people who are actually close to solving their pain. The mindset of needing to be sure to take that next step. Why? Because it seems each "option" starts w more pain and you just want relief.
You don't need another "option" like that. You need a simple way to test and move forward. I use a method that does both at the same time. It helps you clearly tell what is driving the pain by giving immediate relief wo any needles, knives, or pills. And it shows you what your body needs next.
No guessing. No endless comparing of symptoms. Just direction.
Here is what that looks like in practice.
→ You run a few targeted movements that change the load on the nerve.
→ You watch how your symptoms respond in real time.
→ I use that response to decide your next step.
→ I help you build a path that leads out of pain instead of around it.
I have watched people go from months or years of confusion to clear progress in a single remote session. That's how simple it can be with the right system.
If this sounds like where you are right now, you do not have to stay stuck there. Comment, "Nerve", and I will do my best to help you sort it out for good.

Meaningful relief for stubborn disc and nerve pain in less than 7 days??

Kathryn had been dealing w varying levels of pain and discomfort from nerve issues ever since a shoulder surgery in 2022.

We connected a short while ago after Kathryn had seen some of my educational material here on FB. After a chat, it became clear to me I could likely help. So we set up a Zoom call to let me see if I felt confident enough to guarantee her a meaningful result.

Happy to say things lined up and Kathryn invested in my 7 Day First Steps plan to find a way to help reduce her symptoms enough that she could experience a real break from the pain, tingling, and exhaustion.

You can read for yourself her results.
---> First screenshot is at day 2.
---> Second screenshot is at day 6.

After years of frustration, treatments that didn't help, and losing hope the whole time, this might be possible for you as well.

Right now I have 3 spots open for anyone suffering stubborn disc or nerve issues looking for relief, hope, and even a lasting solution. You can let me know your interested to know more by either commenting here or messaging me directly, "Curious".

If you'd just like to ask questions, I'm open for that too. :)

“Why isn’t this getting better even though I’m doing everything right?”

I've heard this a lot ... like a whoooole lot and I get it. I've been there a few times in the past myself.

If you’ve asked yourself that question, you’re not crazy. And you’re no exception. You’re likely just missing a piece of puzzle no one ever explained to you.

You probably head some version of this: “You have a pinched nerve.” Which would seem to imply all you have to do is find the "spot", relieve the "pinch", abradadabra ... RELIEF! Neat and clean.

Unfortunately, though, that view is often painfully incomplete. :(

Nerves don’t behave like passive cables or tubes getting pinched and released. They are literally living, metabolically demanding, mechanically sensitive tissue. That fact is what can make things feel so frustrating.

When a nerve becomes irritated, even slightly, it doesn’t begin w pain but it does start to change, usually to swell, to become less tolerant to movement and pressure, circulation can get compromised, and the nerve itself starts propagating inflammation even into healthy tissues. That's right nerve tissue is the tissue that signals for the inflammatory process. This means an irritated nerve can, in a very real sense, manufacture other problems.

So now you don’t just have a compression issue. You have a supply problem, a sensitivity problem, a space problem, and so much more.

So even if you’re doing your exercises, improving your posture, “taking pressure off the disc", the nerve may still be struggling to: get adequate blood flow, tolerate normal movement, pass through the multiple spaces it has to travel through, and, yes, more.

This is important: nerves don't just live in one spot. They slide, rotate, compress, stretch, and respirate.

Nerves have to manage space and movement through a system.

- Neck → brachial plexus → thoracic outlet → arm → elbow → forearm → wrist

- Low back → pelvis → hip (glutes/deep rotators) → deep gluteal space → posterior thigh → knee → lower leg → ankle → foot

Every one of those areas mentioned above can either support recovery or cause more irritation.

This is part of the reason you can be doing things that are technically "correct" and still not addressing what actually matters for your situation.

Things feel inconsistent, or progress stalls, or it feels good for a bit but then symptoms come easing or crashing back.

I hope all this feels helpful. You can comment "Helpful" if you'd like to let me know. I do want you to know that most people don’t stay stuck because they’re not trying hard enough. They stay stuck or even get worse because the model they’ve been given is too small for the problem they’re dealing with.

With a model that takes looks at the entire system and it's affect on the nerves as well as their effect on the system (your body) a lot of what felt unpredictable starts to become very predictable. Once you can get to that place is usually the first real sign that things can change.

Wishing you the best ❤

"But, Jeff, how can you help me remotely when my therapists and docs couldn't?"

That’s a question I hear a lot. And it’s a fair one. If someone has put their hands on you in person…watched you move…worked with you face-to-face…how in the world could someone help you remotely when that didn’t solve the problem? In fact, it's how I used to work exclusively until 2020 hit and forced me to help my clients remotely. Then I realized something that seemed counterintuitive but ended up making so much sense!

When you wait to be fixed, wait for that in person visit, feel rushed through the limited time given, discomforted further by the travel and waiting, you lose momentum. Period.

When you're taught how to serve yourself, can care for yourself on a regular and meaningful schedule, given unlimited opportunities to communicate, clarify, reassure, and you are 100% clear what you need to be doing, you gain momentum. And results!

I made a video on my new Youtube channel explaining exactly how this works. Make sure to Subscribe for lots of great and unique info and solutions!

If you’ve ever wondered why therapy didn’t solve your disc or nerve pain and how recovery can still happen, I think you’ll find it very helpful.

I'll drop a link in the comments for you. 🙂

And if any part of this resonates with you and you'd like to chat, feel free to comment “Me.” I’m always happy to point people in the right direction whether that ends up being with me or someone else who can help.
