Some ways you can support someone who is coming out:
- Express your pride & joy for them.
- Reassure them of your love & support (however many times they need it).
- Be empathetic, always. Keep yourself educated on LGBTQ+.
- Ask if it's confidential and respect their privacy (this is their story to tell, not yours).
- Keep checking in
