✌️🌻 Peace, Love & Good Times at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley! 🌻✌️

We got groovy this September at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley! Our theme for the month took us back to the fabulous 1970s, and we kicked things off by creating beautiful centerpieces with sunflowers grown right in our own garden. 🌻💛

With plenty of peace, love, flowers, and retro flair, we transformed our community and got ready for our 70s-themed social! Residents had a blast making colorful flower crowns, listening to some of the decade’s greatest hits, playing games, and reminiscing about the styles, music, and memories of the era. 🎶☮️

And no trip back to the 70s would be complete without some classic party favorites! We enjoyed shrimp cocktail, ambrosia salad, and plenty of nostalgic treats that brought back a few delicious memories.

From homegrown sunflowers to flower power, it was a month filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of peace, love & groovy fun! ✌️🌼🕺

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MEET RJ! 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on RJ Ciolek, Lead Server at Garden Villas of O’Fallon!

RJ has been a valued member of the Delmar Gardens family since 2014, bringing more than a decade of dedication and friendly service to our residents. ❤️

His favorite part of his job? Spending time with our residents, meeting new people and, of course, the food! 🍽️ RJ loves the relationships he’s built over the years and the opportunity to make each day a little brighter for those around him.

When he’s not at Garden Villas of O’Fallon, you’ll likely find RJ at the gym, enjoying the outdoors, exploring a local park or cruising around in his Camaro. 🏎️ He also treasures spending time with his family.

And here’s a fun fact that stopped us in our tracks... literally! 🏃💨 RJ ran track in high school and once completed a mile in an impressive 4 minutes and 58 seconds!

RJ, thank you for the energy, dedication and kindness you’ve brought to Garden Villas of O’Fallon for all these years. We’re so glad you’re part of our family! 💙

Drop a 👏 in the comments to help us celebrate RJ!

🎶 Workin’ 9 to 5… but makin’ time for some Dolly-style fun! 🎶

Our team at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley traded their workday looks for a little country glam at our Dolly Parton-themed Staff Appreciation Party! 💖🤠

We enjoyed delicious food, games, plenty of laughs, and some friendly competition with contests for Best Dolly Look, Best Hair, and Best Country Look! And as you can imagine, there was no shortage of big hair, sparkle, and Dolly spirit! ✨

It was wonderful to spend some time together relaxing, having fun, and celebrating the incredible people who give so much to our residents each and every day.

After all, when you’re workin’ 9 to 5, you deserve a little rhinestone therapy every now and then! 💕🎤

🎩🔎 There’s Magic Afoot at Garden Villas! ✨🃏

Something suspicious was happening at Garden Villas during National Assisted Living Week… and our residents were on the case! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Magician Jeff Lefton brought his hilarious Murder by Magic show to Garden Villas, where nothing was quite what it seemed. Cards disappeared, tricks unfolded before our eyes, clues started popping up, and the list of suspects kept everyone guessing. Even Jeff showed up dressed for detective duty! 😂

Our residents became amateur sleuths for the afternoon, watching closely for clues and trying to figure out WHODUNIT?! Was it the magician? Someone in the audience? Perhaps a suspicious character lurking near the card deck? 👀

The suspects were narrowed down one by one until the evidence pointed to our culprit…

🚨 CASE CLOSED: CRAZY KATHY DID IT! 🚨

She was caught red-handed! 😂

Thankfully, the only real crime that afternoon was having way too much fun. Between the magic, mystery, laughter, and a little detective work, it was an unforgettable afternoon at Garden Villas! 🎩✨🔎
