Today, we're celebrating the progress of Joy! 🥳
This sweet lady has been suffering from a worsening case of Neuropathy for at least the last 3 YEARS. The condition afflicted her with every symptom we check for--minus electric shocks (which meant 15/16 total)! 😢
In spite of her efforts to control the Neuropathy with vitamins, pain killers, and even trying some nutritional changes-- NOTHING helped her in a meaningful way. Consequently, her damaged nerves couldn't properly sustain her balance; diminishing both her ranges of mobility and activity.
This made it IMPOSSIBLE for her to enjoy any aspect of her life without needing to accommodate the disease. It stole her restful sleep, filled her with doubt regarding her future ability and freedom, and caused her great concern about falling and/or losing her ability to drive.
During her examination, she shared her desire to BOTH find relief and-- if possible-- achieve improvement with our team.
Dr. Weber confidently reassured her that, as long as she followed his treatment program as instructed, we would help her to RESTORE as much of that nerve function as her body had the capacity to regain.
And while she may have begun with a 33% loss, it only took her 100 DAYS of committed focus to recover 29% of that sensory function back from Neuropathy!! 🙌
Now, she's moving better, sleeping better, and feeling better about having a future of greater mobile INDEPENDENCE!
