We at Gentle Birth Care are thrilled to announce a significant and positive transition within our practice. Katie Suhling, CNM, has moved on to pursue other opportunities. While we wish her well, we are thrilled to announce that Becky Coolidge, CPM, is joining our midwifery team!

Becky brings decades of invaluable experience to Gentle Birth Care. Her extensive background as a Certified Professional Midwife will greatly benefit our clients. Becky’s deep commitment to personalized, compassionate care aligns perfectly with our philosophy, and we are confident that her expertise will provide exceptional support to families throughout their birthing journeys.

We are also proud to announce that Gentle Birth Care is now the first midwifery practice in Illinois to work with both Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) in the primary midwife role! This unique collaboration allows us to offer a wider range of services and expertise, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality, comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.

We understand that changes can sometimes be unsettling, and we appreciate your understanding and continued trust in Gentle Birth Care. We are confident that Becky’s new position marks an exciting new chapter for our practice, and we look forward to serving you with even greater dedication and expertise.

Hello Gentle Birth Care family! We are so excited to announce that we are adding a new location in Arlington Heights!!! Bright Futures Chiropractic will be sharing their office with us on Fridays starting November 1st. We can't wait to see you there!

A beautiful En Caul birth attended by Katie and Tynece ❤️ An en caul birth is when a baby is born encased in the un-ruptured amniotic sac. An estimated 1 in 80,000 are born en caul, making this extra special to witness!
