Have you ever thought, “I’d love to offer group coaching… but where would I even start?”

I created the Group Coaching CE Course because I know how much heart coaches bring to their work — and how overwhelming it can feel to step from one-on-one coaching into a group setting.

Group coaching sounds exciting… until you start thinking about the details.

How do I make sure everyone feels included?
How do I manage different personalities and needs?
How do I keep the conversation moving without taking over?
How do I create structure without making it feel rigid?

I wanted to create something that helps coaches feel less alone in those questions.

Because group coaching is not just one-on-one coaching with more people. It asks us to grow as facilitators, hold space in a different way, and trust the power of connection within the group.

This course was designed to give coaches practical tools, confidence, and a clear framework for leading groups in a way that feels grounded, ethical, and supportive.

If group coaching has been on your mind, I’d love to support you.

Group coaching is not just individual coaching with more people in the room.

It takes structure, presence, facilitation skills, and the ability to coach in the moment while still supporting the whole group.

That is where many health and wellness coaches get stuck.

How do you keep the group engaged?
How do you invite quieter members into the conversation?
How do you manage one person dominating the discussion?
How do you balance teaching with client-centered coaching?

I created a free guide, 5 Essential Group Coaching Skills, to help health and wellness coaches lead more confident, connected, and effective group sessions.

NBC-HWCs: Do you really need another certification?

It’s a question worth asking.

Health coaches are being sold a certification for everything lately.
Hormone coaching. Gut health coaching. Trauma coaching. Stress coaching. Mindset coaching. Behavior change coaching.
Some are valuable. Some are pricey. And some just sound official because the sales page said so.

Before spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on another certification, ask:
→ Is this actually accredited, or just “approved” by the company selling it?
→ Is it recognized by a reputable organization?
→ Does it align with the NBHWC Scope of Practice?
→ Will it make me a better coach, or just give me more letters to squeeze into my bio?

As NBC-HWCs, we already hold a respected credential.
What many coaches need next is not always another certification. Sometimes, we need sharper skills.

Skills like facilitating stronger group coaching sessions, creating engagement, managing group dynamics, and supporting behavior change in a group setting.

Or learning how to coach autistic clients with more awareness, flexibility, respect, and client-centered support.

That is exactly why I created focused CE courses through VivaWell Coaching, including:
Group Coaching for Health and Wellness Coaches
Coaching for Autistic Clients

https://www.vivawellcoaching.com/category/all-products

These courses are built for real coaching conversations, not just certificate collecting.

A good certification can absolutely be worth it.
But another badge does not automatically make you a better coach.

Better coaching comes from sharper skills, stronger presence, ethical practice, and knowing how to help clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.

Before you buy the next shiny certification, ask yourself:
Do I need another title, or do I need better tools?

What if better communication starts with less fixing… and more listening?

In coaching, Nonviolent Communication invites us to pause, notice what’s happening, and respond with curiosity instead of judgment.

It might sound like:

“I’m noticing this feels heavy. What do you need right now?”

“What matters most to you in this moment?”

“What would feel supportive instead of pressured?”

“What are you hoping I understand?”

When we pair Nonviolent Communication with trauma-informed coaching, we change the tone of the entire coaching relationship.

Clients feel heard instead of judged.
Respected instead of rushed.
Empowered instead of pushed.

Coaches, I’m curious:

How do you already use communication tools like this in your coaching?

What feels easy? What feels tricky?

Comment below — I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Trauma-informed coaching isn’t about being a therapist.

It’s about coaching like a real human is sitting in front of you.

Someone with a nervous system.
A story.
Past experiences.
Maybe some protective patterns that helped them survive.

As coaches, we may already be doing pieces of this:

Offering choice.
Slowing down.
Checking in.
Not pushing through overwhelm.
Letting clients lead.
Respecting “not yet.”
Staying curious instead of labeling someone as resistant.

Trauma-informed coaching is less about having all the answers and more about creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore change.

Coaches, I’m curious:

Where do you already see trauma-informed principles showing up in your coaching?

And what questions do you still have about it?

✨ New Course for Coaches ✨

If you’re coaching autistic clients—or want to—you’ve probably felt this:
👉 “I want to support them well… but I don’t always know how.”

That’s exactly why I created:
Coaching for Autistic Clients 💜

This isn’t just another course.
It’s built from both professional expertise AND lived experience.

I’m a Health Coach and I’m autistic.
I’m also married to an autistic partner and raising 3 autistic children with beautifully complex neurodivergent profiles.

This means you’re not just learning theory—you’re learning what actually works in real life.

Inside the course, you’ll learn how to:
✔️ Coach without increasing masking or burnout
✔️ Use strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming strategies
✔️ Adapt routines, goals, and tools for real brains
✔️ Stay within scope while knowing when to refer or collaborate
✔️ Build trust with autistic clients in a meaningful way

This is the training I wish more coaches had.
Because autistic clients don’t need to be “fixed”—they need to be understood and supported differently.
