This week, we’re celebrating four incredible members of our Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge team: Haley Carver, PA-C; Haylie Wilson, PA-C; Joel Hayes, PA-C; and Ashley Wainauski, PA-C!

We offer spirometry testing right here at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge!
Spirometry is a simple, noninvasive breathing test that measures how much air you can move in and out of your lungs—and how quickly you can exhale. Your provider may recommend spirometry if you are experiencing:
✅ Shortness of breath
✅ A chronic cough
✅ Wheezing or noisy breathing
✅ Symptoms of asthma or COPD
✅ Changes in an existing lung condition
✅ Concerns about how well your treatment is working
During the test, a member of our clinical team will guide you through a series of breaths into our specialized spirometry equipment. The results provide valuable information that can help your provider evaluate your lung function and determine the next steps in your care.

Ask your provider if spirometry may be right for you!
