Dentistry gets emotional. Lately, I have gotten to see many young patients who have been thru so much ridicule and lived the embarrassment of what they think is an ugly smile all their lives. It’s been traumatic, and just when they think they have saved enough money to afford the necessary treatment to fix their teeth, they get presented with a treatment plan that sends them right back into trying to accept their ugly smile a little longer. Luckily, we have a great team that enjoys restoring confidence back into these wonderful individuals that are ready to take on the world.
It’s not often I get my tail kicked in on difficult cases, but this one took me for a ride. Not even close to perfect, but very acceptable from where we began. She already bought a couple of new dresses to celebrate her new smile and shine bright like the star she is!
