So many Certified Massage Therapists hope to expand their careers by becoming educators in massage therapy!

📢Here's what it takes!

👩‍🏫TO TEACH Hands-On Skill Training:
👉You must be CAMTC certified.
👉You must have a minimum of 2 years actively working while CAMTC certified.
👉You may also need to demonstrate hands-on teaching ability (demo lesson, practical evaluations, or portfolio) per the employer’s criteria.

👩‍🏫TO TEACH Lecture Classes: (Anatomy, Kinesiology, Pathology, Business Ethics, etc.)
👉You must be CAMTC certified.
👉You need solid subject-area experience (in practice, job experience, or prior teaching).
👉Relevant credentials or advanced training in the subject are a plus (e.g., certifications, degrees, continuing education).
👉Demonstrated ability to translate theory into practical understanding for students.
👉 Efficient skills in curriculum planning, assessments, and student engagement.

🤯ATTENTION👉Code Enforcement Spotlight on CAMTC Certification:

👩‍🏫 Massage Therapist without CAMTC certification are being denied business licenses in many local cities.

👩‍🏫If you’re a Massage Therapist already working without a required CAMTC certificate, you may be cited.(average $500 citation per occurrence)

👩‍🏫For students and future therapists:
If you’re enrolling in massage school, make sure the program is CAMTC Approved.

👩‍🏫Without CAMTC credentials, your options for obtaining a business license may be very limited.
Trying to fly under the radar is risky: if you’re caught working without proper certification, the first citation is a $500 fine.

💁‍♀️Get CAMTC-certified before you practice or license a business. It protects you, your clients, and your future opportunities.
