This week, we’re celebrating our amazing techs because it’s National Veterinary Technician Week🐾

They’re here around the clock, 365 days a year, including holidays, to care for your pets. They comfort your fur babies when they’re sick, scared, or hurt. They’re there to celebrate first puppy and kitten visits, help with wellness exams, and support pets and families through the hardest goodbyes.

From monitoring anesthesia and taking X-rays to giving injections, preparing meals, and walking dogs through rain, shine, and snow, they show up with skill, patience, and so much love.

To our incredible techs, thank you for everything you do. You deserve to be celebrated all year long! 💙🐶🐱

If you’ve been to OVH anytime in the last decade plus, chances are you’ve seen Cat—helping out during appointments, assisting in surgery, and making sure everything behind the scenes keeps moving.

As our technician manager, Cat has been such an important part of our team and the care we provide. We’re so grateful for the time, skill, and heart she’s given to OVH and to the people and pets who come through our doors.

Cat, we’ll miss having you here every day, but we’re wishing you all the best in your next chapter. Thank you for everything. 💙🐾🐶🐱

What a wonderful day celebrating 40 years of Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital! 🥳 Thank you to everyone who came out to party! We loved showing you around, sharing snacks and cake, and a nice sweet treat from Cone Zone Ice Cream truck.

We also enjoyed beautiful watercolor pet portraits from Pink Sky Designs (sponsored by Hills) , meeting some adoptable dogs from AHS - Tinton Falls, NJ , and live music from Dr. Leanza’s band, Zone 331. We were so glad Dr. Delaney could join us, too!

Special thank you to our vendors who joined us and contributed to our special day Hill's Pet Nutrition, Trupanion, Zoetis Petcare, Pumpkin 🐶🐱 , Elanco Pet Health

We’re honored to be part of this community and to care for your furry family members. A big thank-you to our amazing staff for making today special 🥳🎉 and for everything you do, every day, to make Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital a great place to be. 🐾
