📢 California Budget Timeline: Key Dates to Know! 🏛️

The state budget process is moving quickly, and several important deadlines are approaching:

📅 June 12 — Budget bill must be publicly available for at least 72 hours before a vote.
📅 June 15 — Deadline for the Legislature to pass the state budget.
📅 June 27 — Deadline for the Governor to sign, veto, or take action on the budget (if received on June 15).

These decisions can impact services, programs, and resources that matter to our communities. Stay informed and stay engaged! 💙

El proceso del presupuesto estatal avanza rápidamente y hay varias fechas clave que debes conocer:

📅 12 de junio — El proyecto de presupuesto debe estar disponible al público durante al menos 72 horas antes de una votación.
📅 15 de junio — Fecha límite para que la Legislatura apruebe el presupuesto estatal.

Our CEO and Public Policy & Advocacy Manager had the opportunity to attend the Disco at the Capitol with The Arc of California!✨ Alongside self-advocates, they met with legislative staff in Sacramento to advocate for the preservation of the Lanternman Act and Medicaid services! What an amazing day! 💛🤗

¡Nuestro CEO y Gerente de Políticas Públicas y Abogacion tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir al Disco en la Capital con The Arc of California! ✨ Junto a autodefensores, se reunieron con personal legislativo en Sacramento y abogaron por la preservación de la Ley Lanterman y servicios de Medicaid! Today, we had the wonderful opportunity to share our resources at the very first Mother’s Day Brunch hosted by Celebrate Caregiver Moms 💕🌷 We’re so thankful to have been able to support and attend such a meaningful event celebrating the incredible moms and caregivers in our community. We had an amazing time connecting, celebrating, and honoring all the love and dedication moms bring every single day 💖 Happy Mother’s Day weekend! ✨.
