Such an exciting moment when Kate Webster came into my office and presented a gift for the Activity Department @ Oakland Heights. Kate Webster and the Salem Covenant Church Sunday School Pay It Forward, presented me with a check for the Activity Department. Oakland Heights is very appreciative of Salem Covenant Church and its congregation for all they do!

 It was a hot day today, but we made it through. Next year, we'll need more candy if we do this again. Sorry to those we couldn't reach; we ran out as we headed down the hill toward the park by the golf course. If we missed you, we’re sorry, but we appreciate your waving and support.

Live entertainment brought lots of smiles and joy to the Oakland Heights residents! Tuesday, Arthrightous Brothers entertained us, and on Thursday, Rayne and Rob led the residents in singing along! We appreciate live entertainment days!

David and Ashley are part of the key team members dedicated to spreading enthusiasm and positivity. A bulletin board is positioned across from the Activity Department where colleagues can add positive shout-outs to recognize their peers.

PUFFY RACES was the real deal, not puppy racing! The event was a blast with loads of fun. The team members were all signed up and running to the finish line. The first race went smoothly, but the second had a minor setback when the hippo deflated, though it was quickly fixed. The hand walking clown won both races. The residents attending the event didn't mind the humidity. Who is who in the comments and plus videos!
