Did you know that the first chiropractic adjustment was given on September 15th 1895? Daniel David Palmer is the founder of chiropractic. And the lucky recipient was a janitor who had been deaf for the past 17 years after feeling something “give” in his back. Palmer proceeded to examine the area and gave a primitive adjustment. He had felt what appeared to be an out of place vertebrae in the janitors upper back. The janitor noticed an improvement in his hearing shortly after!
