How We Got Started: Denise Stevens RN and CEO founded Maine-ly Elder Care in 1999 on the same values that we uphold today. Denise started working in home care as a CNA over 25 years ago. She knew with her very first home care visit this would be her life long career. From that first visit she envisioned a company that valued relationships. Relationships with our clients and their families, our relationships with our caregivers and the relationships with the communities we serve. So it began, Denise started Maine-ly Elder Care in 1999, the same year she started nursing school. She became a registered nurse in 2001 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business from Thomas College.

Whether you need a little help with housekeeping tasks, individualized personal care or a nurse to help with a new medication regimen, our team is here to help.

Maine-ly Elder Care’s team can assist with the very important transition from hospital to home.
