As the county fair comes to an end, we want to congratulate all the exhibitors on their achievements this past year!

We also want to thank our Farm Bureau members for their continued support throughout the year! Without your support, we would not be able to accomplish the great things we have done for our community this past year.
To show our appreciation, we hosted a dinner at the fair on Saturday for our members. Once again, we appreciate everything our members do to support Farm Bureau and our community. ❤️

Happy Fair Week!

To celebrate this past year for our County Farm Bureau, we would like to invite all our Farm Bureau members and their families to our Membership Appreciation Picnic, happening at the fairgrounds on Saturday, July 18th from 5:00-6:30 pm.

Come out and enjoy a free steak sandwich dinner and some good company!

Don't forget to stop by our table TONIGHT at the Pottawattamie County Fair for some free prizes and to enjoy some live music! Check out our Young Farmer Event post for more details.

Are you or someone you know between the ages of 18-35?

Come join us at the Pottawattamie County Fair for a Young Farmer Event on Friday, July 17th from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

We will have some prizes for our members and drink tickets if you stop by and visit us at our table. Bring a friend! If they join that night, they will receive a free T-shirt!

There will be live music by Finding Dixie starting at 7:30pm, so don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other Young Farmers in the community and have a great time!

Thank you to East Pottawattamie County Farm Bureau for donating this book to the Avoca Public Library, and for doing a wonderful Storytime and seed planting activity yesterday! You are such great supporters of Pottawattamie County libraries and our patrons and we appreciate it so much!

Help us support the local food pantries through the months of May and June!

We have placed change boxes at the registers at Rubacks Food Center and Avoca Food Land. When you check out, you can place your spare change in the boxes. Whatever money is raised in those boxes, East Pottawattamie County Farm Bureau will match that amount in another donation to the food pantries at the end of the event. For example, if we raise $25, Farm Bureau will donate another $25 to the food pantries.

We hope you participate, and we appreciate your support for the local food pantries!
