Please join us in welcoming Seon Ho Choe (Sun) L.Ac., Dipl.OM to Sparkes Acupuncture! Her schedule will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-6, and Saturdays from 9-2.

Sun began her professional journey in Exercise Science at Rutgers University. Originally preparing for a career in physical therapy, a personal experience—avoiding ankle surgery through acupuncture—led her to pursue Eastern Medicine and discover the power of the body’s natural healing capacity.

She graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science, where she trained in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic approaches to musculoskeletal health. She also earned a Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture Certification in Korea, integrating advanced cosmetic acupuncture techniques into her practice.

Sun believes that the body has an innate ability to restore balance and heal itself. Using meridian theory, functional assessment, and targeted acupuncture, she supports both symptom relief and long-term structural and energetic balance.

Her goal is to help patients achieve optimal function, resilience, and overall well-being through safe, effective, and individualized care.

Sparkes Acupuncture is looking for an Office Administrator to help with the daily operations of our acupuncture office.

Hours to start will be Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30-7:30.

The office admin will be the first face patients see when they enter the office, so the ideal candidate will be positive and professional. This person will able to undertake a variety of office support tasks while being attentive to detail.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in acupuncture and/or holistic medicine, and a willingness to learn more, including occasionally receiving acupuncture to understand the experience, feel the benefits and be able to articulate that to patients.

Primary responsibilities include: greeting and engaging with patients, scheduling appointments and managing payments using acupuncture-specific software, answering calls and making insurance related calls, keeping the office organized, cleaning treatment rooms between patients, monitoring levels of supplies for reordering, social media posting.

After spending four days last week learning new and advanced treatment techniques for lower leg injuries with .medicine.acupuncture, I can’t wait to get back to the office tomorrow! 📍

We covered pain and injuries of the knee, lower leg, ankle and foot. I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue my education & provide the best service for my patients.
